Picked up a Tomos Revival from a guy who said he stopped riding it due to an oil leak.
It is a pretty cool version. It is an electric start A35. Not many of those were made. It ran fine and started up easy but made lots of noise. I tried to fill the tranny with fresh fluid and it all drained out the bottom. . . Upon further inspection I found the case was cracked. I pulled it apart and one of the bearings had completely let go and there were loose bearings grinding around in the cases.
I got new cases and will be doing a full bottom end rebuild. This bike is super fun and strange at the same time. It has so many random bits that are unique to this bike. Like the fake plastic tank.
