I took apart the Tri Rad rear end and repacked the dried out bearings. They are smooth as butter now!
Took off the axle housing
Popped out the retainer and seal
Then you take out this plastic bearing holder
Those balls were DRY!
I have a handy syringe filled with grease to inject between the ball bearings.
Just squeezes it right in.
Now with the grease packed in there just reverse the steps. Make sure the balls are spaced evenly so the ball holder will fit back in.
Once it is aligned good push that in and put the seal and ring back in.
Back end all back together with fresh grease everywhere!
