E50 Clutch Bracing

I keep seeing clutches that are braced with bad spacing, big bolt heads, backed out bolts, hack jobs.

First step is to mill/grind down the posts just just about where the circlip sits. Go as low as you can, remember the shoes need to be able to rotate out so don't go too far and squeeze them. You can safely go to just above the circlip groove.

Then drill/countersink/tap the holes. If you countersink you can get the bolts to sit flush. Then you dont have to worry about rubbing.

Throw some locktite on the bolts and your good to go.
